I was a travel nurse working in an E.R. and I became very ill and came to the E.R. for treatment.My contract ended and I was notified by a coworker that some of the staff R.N.’s had looked at my chart on the computer and made comments.My co-worker called corporate compliace hotline and I followed up a week later and they stated that it would take longer than a week to get a final answer.I have not received a call from the hospitals’ risk management dept.Shouls I obtain legal counsel or follow up with the attorney general of the state?
