In California, on a Commerical Month to Month lease… I have

In California, on a Commerical Month to Month lease… I have given 30 day notice to move out, and have not submitted rent yet, but the office has a notice that states to the effect “based on your intent to move out and default of the lease your lease has been terminated”. The default I am guessing would be the non payment of rent.
