My land lord denied me a subletter after making a contract with a subletter. Can I take him to small claims court? My land lord gave back my security deposit in full before my lease was up and yet he is still billing me a total of $250 for cleaning services.

i am being taken to small claims court by an attorney that took over an orthodontic bill for my daughter (cosmetic reasons not medically necessary) that wasnt paid by my ex wife. first of all he took her to court and they settled on a total, she paid, and the bill was satisfied
