Can a New York attorney enforce an agreement with a client obligating the client to provide to the attorney work valued at not less than an agreed amount, say $100,000, based on agreed hourly rates, during an agreed period of time, say for one year following the agreement? The client expends exponentially more on fees via multiple law firms.

I have a problem with my lawyer who I have caught lying to me three different times. He also told me my case would be dropped if I offered restuation which I being his client would not agree to me it looked like admission of guilt. He then raised the stakes by adding this will get you your company business equipment back and the detective that arrested you will assist in making the transaction go smoothly so I agreed.

I just recently repossed a comercial vehicle in the state of GA. The person that was operating the vehicle was leased on to another company which installed a computer and a satellite tracking device in my truck. After I took the vehicle the company’s lawyer contacted me and said that his client had personal property (computer) in the vehicle and that I had to return it.
