We have a GE side-by-side refrigerator that we noticed was not running last night. We cleaned the back & underneath thoroughly & it started running. When we got up this AM, the temp in the fridge was about the same (60 degrees F) as when we went to bed

I have 2001 dodge grand caravan I just put a new air compressor on and pugged every thing in.It only has oil in it. the fuse and relay in the fuse box are good but the compressor won’t come on.

I am a little older, and possibly my information is too. But I have always been taught that to prolong the A/C life I should shut down my system a block or two before stopping the vehicle to help evaporate the condensate, and to equalize the pressures in the system. Also, one should never start their vehicle with the A/C unit on, as it adds load to the starter motor, and is hard on the compressor too
