I am a disabled veteran 100%, about 10 years ago the marion,IN VA sent me to Indiana University Medical Center for a Liver Transplant. for several years they paid the bills as thry should and then all of a sudden they quit. And this is an on going thing for the rest of my life.

I filed 2 weeks to late, so they are denying those 2 weeks of benefits. It seems like a harsh punishment for something so important

I accepted your response about a collection agency asking me to pay for a loan I am not sure I incurred more than 7 years ago in PA. I understand that I am not legally obligated to pay for it but I am still concerned about my credit. I checked my 3 bureau credit report and it has nothing about that loan.I had entries there as old as 1995 and nothing about a loan that was not paid.But the report also does not show a collection I fully paid more than 7 years ago so I dont know if this report can be used to prove that the debt they are talking about it not mine.

If a creditor charged off an outstanding balance in Feburary 0f 2007 and I payed a settlement in June of 2009 can they charge off the remaining balnce again on my credit report?
