Friday, August 28th, 2009My home purcahse deal fell off of the Escrow due to non-approval of the loan, however I was pre qualified before I placed an offer. Now escrow company is saying that they will minus $750 from the original good faith deposit for their services as they completed their job. Are they allowed to do that?

Please help, we are being reviewed for the Freddie Mack workout option and feel we are getting the run around and now the clock is ticking. Should we just ask Wells Fargo to scratch the modification request and ask that the loan be reinstated and double up on the payments or something to bring the loan back current
