I live in the state of missouri and my cousin is going to start leaving her 10 year old and three year old at home alone @ time so she can go to work. What legal advice can I have to prevent this. I feel that the situation is very unsafe.

My neighbors complain I make too much noise, primarily because our bedrooms our situated on top of each other and I stay up 2 hours later than them. They are seeking to formally deal with the situation, and I want to know what my rights are. Are there legally allowable sounds that I can make at any hour of the day?

I have recently been informed that effective October 1, 2009 my salary will be cut by almost 50%. They have rewritten my current job description and are giving 2/3 of my role to a younger person who makes less money than I do.
