My ex father in law was my sponsor for a greencard…the document alluded to the fact that i would not be able to receive Social Security or Unemployment…that he would have to support me if I lost my job and accumulated debt… Does that mean creditors would go after him to recover debt? Could he ever unsponsor me…?

I live on Social Security Disabilty, so you know I live on a fixed income. Because I have excellent credit, score of 805, two and a half years ago I was able to finance a car for my son and to date he has been making the payments
